Ensure you unplug power from the HP NetServer before pulling it forward on its slides. If you have space in the rack over the HP NetServer, you may be able to install/remove processor modules without pulling the chassis out of the rack. 1. Perform the shutdown procedure listed in Chapter 3, "Opening and Closing the HP NetServer" for the respective NOS. NOTE
The following steps assume the HP NetServer is already in a
rack. Ensure you unplug power from the HP NetServer before
pulling it forward on its slides.
If you have space in the rack over the HP NetServer, you may
be able to install/remove processor modules without pulling the
chassis out of the rack.
