Using Paper Catalog > Operation When Fiery Controller is Installed Preventing Image Rubbing If the print head comes into contact with the paper and the image is rubbed, adjust the distance between the paper and the print head. 1 Display the screen. [System Menu/Counter] key > [Device Settings] > [Paper Feeding] > "Cassette Settings" [Cassette 1 (to 8) Settings] > [Paper Catalog] 2 Select the paper brand > [ ] (information icon) > [Ink Discharge Distance] 3 Configure the settings. Select [Normal] or [Wide]. If the image is rubbed when you print on heavy paper or ink jet matte paper, select [Wide]. IMPORTANT If a paper jam occurs under the print head when [Normal] is selected, contact your service representative. 5-10
