Troubleshooting > Troubleshooting When Feeding Paper NOTE Place the paper in the upward curl side at measurement. Arrow View X Paper direction Curl 2 The maximum value among 4 corners is the curl amount of the paper. Tolerable value of the curl amount is as follows. Paper weight 52.3 to 299.9 g/m2 300 to 360 g/m2 Tolerable value of the curl amount 5 mm or less 3 mm or less In case the curl amount exceeds the tolerable value at the above measurement, correct the curl in the next step 3-3. In case the curl amount is within the tolerable value, go to step 4, 3 Place the paper bundle on the flat surface with the curl side face-down. 4 Hold the leading edge of the paper bundle in the paper feed direction and correct the curl by rolling up the paper in the reverse direction of the curl. Paper direction 5 Hold the trailing edge of the paper bundle and correct the curl as done at above step 3-4. 6 Turn over the upward curl paper and reload it in the paper tray.
