Using Various Functions > About Functions NOTE If gray text is not printed completely using [Text + Photo], selecting [Text] may improve the result. Sending/Printing/Storing Item Text+Photo Photo Text Description Best for mixed text and photo documents. Best for photos taken with a camera. Sharply renders pencil text and fine lines. Select [Text], [Light Text/Fine Line] or [Text (for OCR)]. When [Text (for OCR)] is selected, scanning produces an image that is suitable for OCR.
