Troubleshooting > Troubleshooting When Feeding Paper 2 In case of hard to replace, set paper with lead side trail or up side down. 5 Check paper Using paper that is out of specification or paper get foreign material. 1 Use recommended paper only. 2 Remove the paper that get foreign material. Paper jam with paper guide 1 Check paper guide Paper guide get dirty or foreign material. 1 If the guide get dirty with ink, paper powder or foreign material then clean up with cloth. Paper jam with paper loading 1 Reset paper width guides Position of the width guides does not fit with paper size. 1 In case that skew, crease, paper jam happen, reset the width guides as paper size. 2 Check paper Paper separating is not enough. 1 Load the paper after separate paper well. Precautions when Loading Paper (page 7-8) Loading Paper (page 7-17) 2 If there is paper that get folded then remove it. 3 Check paper (For large capacity paper feeder) Paper is not loaded properly. 1 Paper in the large capacity paper feeder should not be on guide, if so, reset paper as paper corner do not cover the gap in deck.
