Troubleshooting > Clearing Paper Jams Clearing Paper Jams When Paper Jams Occur If a paper jam occurs, printing stops and the location at which the paper jam has occurred and the following message appear on the touch panel. "Paper Jam." Refer to these procedures to remove the jammed paper. IMPORTANT Remove the jammed paper in the order of the paper finishing option, the printer, and the paper feed option. Jam Location Indicators 1 1 Shows the location of a paper jam. 2 Shows the HELP to remove the jammed paper. 2 If a paper jam occurs, the covers which you have to clear the jam will be displayed with red double circle on the touch panel. Open the cover and remove the jammed paper by referring LED, JAM guidance and labels inside. Depending on the component, the jam clearing method differs as follows.
