Paper Handling > Loading Paper 6 Load additional sheets, if necessary. Load the paper so that it is not warped or lifted by the edge. IMPORTANT The stack of paper should not be higher than the line on the label that indicates the paper limit (see the illustration). 7 Tightly fit the paper length guide to the loaded paper, and then re-lock the paper length guide again. CAUTION Make sure there are no gaps between the paper and paper length guide. Any part of the paper that is out of place may fold, contact the print head, and cause print head damage, skewed feeding, or a paper jam. 8 Push the paper tray fully in until it clicks. NOTE • Paper feeder can be loaded cardstocks. Load the cardstocks in the correct direction. • If the top paper holders of the paper feeder are pushed in at an angle, they may not return to their original positions. Return them to their original positions by hand. 7-37
