Using Paper Catalog > Operation When Fiery Controller is Installed Correcting Paper Skew To feed paper correctly, the amount of play of the paper (amount of resistance play) in the main unit resistance roller must be adjusted. Adjust this setting if the leading edge of the paper folds (skewed feeding) or creases appear. IMPORTANT • The amount of play of paper registered in the Master Paper Catalog cannot be adjusted. You can adjust an amount of play of paper by registering the Paper Entry on the Fiery Controller and configuring the paper characteristics parameters registered in the master Paper Catalog. • If the amount of resistance play is too small, the paper will skew. If the amount of resistance play is too large, creases will appear in the output. • If the paper skew is not resolved even when adjusting the amount of resistance play, confirm whether the paper is loaded correctly. If the problem is not solved, the optional paper feeder is not installed correctly. Contact your dealer or service representative.
