Troubleshooting > Troubleshooting When Feeding Paper Troubleshooting When Feeding Paper If problems occur in paper feeding and output, such as paper jams and multifeeds, implement appropriate procedures. Paper jam with cover open detection 1 Check front cover open/close. Front cover is not close 1 Open front cover and close it firmly. 2 Check ink container and waste ink tank Ink container and waste ink tank is not installed properly. 1 Check if ink container and waste ink tank is installed correctly. 2 Reset them if necessary. 3 Check right cover open/close. Right cover is not close 1 Open right cover and close it firmly. Paper jam with paper quality 1 Check paper Paper get curled. 1 Load the paper with up side down. If the curl is not solved, use new unopened paper. 2 Check paper Paper get moisture. 1 Replace paper. 3 Check paper Paper separating is not enough. Or cutting surface get crushed. 1 Separate paper well and load it with lead side trail. Precautions when Loading Paper (page 7-8) Loading Paper (page 7-17) 2 Fix or replace paper if it has dog ear. 4 Check paper Paper edge get waved 1 Fix or replace paper. 19-25
