Adjustment/Maintenance Menu > About Wasted Paper About Wasted Paper At the beginning of a print job or at fixed intervals during the job, a sheet like the following (wasted paper) for image quality maintenance may be printed to the Right tray. IMPORTANT • The wasted paper is printed when the [Set Paper Discharge Mode] is set to [Off]. Contact your service representative for details. • To print the wasted paper, load the paper of 279.4 x 210 mm (11 "x 8.27") or more in cassette 1. • If there is an ink ejection failure, such as white streaks on the printouts or wasted paper, pause the print job and perform print head cleaning.
