Installing the Battery 1. Push and slide the cover downward until it comes free from the phone. 2. To install, insert the battery into the opening on the back of the phone, aligning the battery contacts with the contacts in the compartment (1) and then gently press the battery down until it clicks into place (2). 4. Hold the bottom edge of the battery and lift the battery from the battery compartment (2). Phone Basics Removing the Battery 1. If your battery level becomes too low, your phone automatically turns off, and you will lose any information you were just working on. For a quick check of your battery level, glance at the battery charge indicator located in the upper-right corner of your phone's display screen. Installing the Battery

free from the phone.
