Table 7-15. Parameters and Definitions for RPRINTER Mode Parameter Definition Name R P The default NETGEAR print server name, as displayed on the bar code label on the bottom of the unit. R is the name of the NetWare print server created on the file server to which the NETGEAR print server (in RPRINTER mode) will connect. New name of the print server. Do not change it unless necessary. W, X F W and X are the names of the queues to be serviced by parallel ports 1 to 2, respectively. If you do not enter W or X, then P1 and P2 are the default names of the queues for parallel ports 1 to 2, respectively. F is the name of the file server that the NetWare print server R logs on to. Examples of the commands are: • In the Binary environment QUICKSET PS123456 PS1 /UN=Marketing /FS=Net311 The print server PS123456 has been set up as a remote printer that is attached to the NetWare print server PS1 on the Net311 file server. The print server PS123456 has been set up as a remote printer that is attached to the NetWare
print server PS1 on the Net311 file server. The new name of the PS123456 print server (now in
RPRINTER mode) is Marketing.
In the NDS environment
QUICKSET PS123456 PS1 /UN=Marketing
The print server PS123456 has been set up as a remote printer that is attached to the NetWare
print server S1. The new name of the PS123456 print server (now in RPRINTER mode) is
Marketing.
