D-Link Unified Access System Software User Manual 12/10/09 SWITCH SUMMARY Use the Switch Summary page to view a summary of statistics for traffic on the switch. To access the Switch Summary page, click LAN > Monitoring > System Statistics > Switch Summary in the navigation tree. Figure 69: Switch Summary Table 59: Switch Summary Fields Field Description ifIndex This object indicates the ifIndex of the interface table entry associated with the Processor of this switch. Total Packets Received Without Errors Broadcast Packets Received The total number of packets, including multicast packets, that were directed to the broadcast address. The total number of packets received that were directed to the broadcast address. Note that this does not include multicast packets. Packets Received With Error Packets Transmitted Without Errors The number of inbound packets that contained errors preventing them from being deliverable to a higher-layer protocol. The total number of packets transmitted out of the interface. Broadcast Packets Transmitted Transmit Packet Errors The total number of packets that higher-level protocols requested to be transmitted to the Broadcast address, including those that were discarded or not sent. The number of outbound packets that could not be transmitted because of errors. Address Entries Currently in The total number of Forwarding Database Address Table entries now active on the Use switch, including learned and static entries. VLAN Entries Currently in Use The number of VLAN entries presently occupying the VLAN table. Time Since Counters Last Cleared The elapsed time, in days, hours, minutes, and seconds since the statistics for this switch were last cleared. • Click Refresh to refresh the data on the screen with the present state of the data in the switch.
