Console(config)# qos map dscp-queue 33 40 41 to 1 qos trust (Global) The qos trust Global Configuration mode command configures the system to the basic mode and trust state. Use the no form of this command to return to the untrusted state. Syntax • qos trust {cos | dscp} • no qos trust • cos - Indicates that ingress packets are classified with packet CoS values. Untagged packets are classified with the default port CoS value. • dscp - Indicates that ingress packets are classified with packet DSCP values. Default Configuration CoS is the default trust mode. Command Mode Global Configuration mode. User Guidelines • Packets entering a quality of service (QoS) domain are classified at the edge of the QoS domain. When packets are classified at the edge, the switch port within the QoS domain can be configured to one of the trusted states because there is no need to classify the packets at every device in the domain. • Use this command to specify whether the port is trusted and which fields of the packet to use to classify traffic. • When the system is configured as trust DSCP, traffic is mapped to a queue according to the DSCPqueue map. 306 QoS Commands
