UTILITY-TOTAL EQ 1. TOTAL EQ This function sets up the 4-band equalizer applied to the stereo-output signal. Press the [UTILITY] button and then the [F1] button to go to the TotalEQ function. This function has only one page: TotalEQ (Total Equalizer). You set up the equalizer by setting its Gain, Frequency, and Width parameters. The following illustration shows how these parameters operate on the output frequency. Level Low Width Middle Width LowBoost Gain Low Gain Middle Gain High Width High Gain LowBoost Freq Low Freq Middle Freq High Freq Frequency • The Total Equalizer does not affect the signal appearing at the assignable outputs. When the Stereo Out To Assignable Out parameter is not set to "off" (UTILITY-MASTER-output, page 195), the Total Equalizer does affect the signal appearing at the speciﬁed assignable outputs. • The equalization you set here applies to all sound directed to the stereo output. If you have set the A5000/A4000 up temporarily in a studio or sound stage, the equalizer offers a convenient way to make ﬁnal adjustments to match the acoustics of your environment. TOTAL EQ

This function sets up the 4-band equalizer applied to the ste-

reo-output signal.

Press the [UTILITY] button and then the [F1] button to go to

the TotalEQ function.

This function has only one page: TotalEQ (Total Equalizer).

You set up the equalizer by setting its Gain, Frequency, and

Width parameters. The following illustration shows how these

parameters operate on the output frequency.

• The Total Equalizer does not affect the signal appearing at the

assignable outputs. When the Stereo Out To Assignable Out

parameter is not set to “off” (UTILITY-MASTER-output, page 195),

the Total Equalizer does affect the signal appearing at the specified
