Chapter 2 IE 3000 Switch Cisco IOS Commands mls qos srr-queue input buffers mls qos srr-queue input buffers Use the mls qos srr-queue input buffers global configuration command to allocate the buffers between the ingress queues. Use the no form of this command to return to the default setting. mls qos srr-queue input buffers percentage1 percentage2 no mls qos srr-queue input buffers Syntax Description percentage1 percentage2 Percentage of buffers allocated to ingress queues 1 and 2. The range is 0 to 100. Separate each value with a space. Defaults Ninety percent of the buffers is allocated to queue 1, and 10 percent of the buffers is allocated to queue 2. Usage Guidelines You should allocate the buffers so that the queues can handle any incoming bursty traffic. Examples This example shows how to allocate 60 percent of the buffer space to ingress queue 1 and 40 percent of the buffer space to ingress queue 2: Switch(config)# mls qos srr-queue input buffers 60 40 You can verify your settings by entering the show mls qos interface [interface-id] buffers or the show mls qos input-queue privileged EXEC command.
