cluster run Chapter 2 IE 3000 Switch Cisco IOS Commands cluster run Use the cluster run global configuration command to enable clustering on a switch. Use the no form of this command to disable clustering on a switch. cluster run no cluster run Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords. Usage Guidelines When you enter the no cluster run command on a cluster command switch, the cluster command switch is disabled. Clustering is disabled, and the switch cannot become a candidate switch. When you enter the no cluster run command on a cluster member switch, it is removed from the cluster. Clustering is disabled, and the switch cannot become a candidate switch. When you enter the no cluster run command on a switch that is not part of a cluster, clustering is disabled on this switch. This switch cannot then become a candidate switch. Examples This example shows how to disable clustering on the cluster command switch: Switch(config)# no cluster run You can verify your setting by entering the show cluster privileged EXEC command.
