Chapter 2 IE 3000 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show errdisable flap-values show errdisable flap-values Use the show errdisable flap-values user EXEC command to display conditions that cause an error to be recognized for a cause. show errdisable flap-values [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point. Command Modes User EXEC Command History Release 12.2(44)EX Modification This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines The Flaps column in the display shows how many changes to the state within the specified time interval will cause an error to be detected and a port to be disabled. For example, the display shows that an error will be assumed and the port shut down if three Dynamic Trunking Protocol (DTP)-state (port mode access/trunk) or Port Aggregation Protocol (PAgP) flap changes occur during a 30-second interval, or if 5 link-state (link up/down) changes occur during a 10-second interval. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output are not displayed, but the lines that contain Output are displayed.
