Chapter 2 IE 3000 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show mac address-table dynamic show mac address-table dynamic Use the show mac address-table dynamic user EXEC command to display only dynamic MAC address table entries. show mac address-table dynamic [address mac-address] [interface interface-id] [vlan vlan-id] [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description address mac-address interface interface-id vlan vlan-id | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Specify a 48-bit MAC address; the valid format is H.H.H (available in privileged EXEC mode only). (Optional) Specify an interface to match; valid interfaces include physical ports and port channels. (Optional) Display entries for a specific VLAN; the range is 1 to 4094. (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point. Command Modes User EXEC Command History Release 12.2(44)EX Modification This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output do not appear, but the lines that contain Output appear.
