Steps Align the power supply unit blank with the power supply unit slot and push it into the power supply unit slot until it clicks into place. Removing an AC power supply unit Prerequisites CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product. CAUTION: The system requires one power supply unit (PSU) for normal operation. On powerredundant systems, remove and install only one PSU at a time in a system that is powered on. 1. Ensure that you read the Safety instructions. 2. Disconnect the power cable from the power source and from the PSU you intend to remove. 3. Remove the cables from the strap on the PSU.
