Silent Mode The Silent mode option allows you to mute all sounds without turning your phone off. To activate Silent mode:  Press the volume down button in standby mode until you see the image below on the screen. The Silent mode icon ( ) appears on the status bar. To deactivate Silent mode:  Press the volume up button repeatedly to select a volume level. Vibrate To set your phone to vibrate instead of making any sounds, follow the steps below.  Press the volume down button in standby mode until you see the image below on the screen. The phone vibrates and the vibrate mode icon ( ) appears on the status bar. To set your phone to always vibrate in addition to any ringer settings: 1. Open the Notifications panel, and then touch 2. Select the Vibrate check button. 3. Touch . Volume > Sound. You can separately adjust your phone's multimedia, ringtone and notifications, and alarm volumes. 1. Open the Notifications panel, and then touch > Sound > Volumes. 2. Drag the volume sliders on the screen to adjust the media, ringtone and notifications, and alarm, volumes. 3. Touch OK. Note: You can adjust the ringer volume in standby mode (or the earpiece volume during a call) by pressing the volume up or down button. Settings 61

Silent Mode
The Silent mode option allows you to mute all sounds without turning your phone off.
To activate Silent mode:
Press the volume down button in standby mode until you see the image below on the
screen.
The Silent mode icon (
