Finding and Recording Places 207 • View route. Shows your route in detail. • Exit application. Stops GPS navigation and closes TomTom NAVIGATOR. Select a destination When you tap Navigate to on the Main Menu, you are given several options to set your destination. Tap the Next icon ( ) to browse through the various types of destinations. Some of the common destinations you may want to go to include the following: • Home. Your Home location. You need to specify your Home location first under Preferences. • Favorite. A frequently visited place that you assign as a favorite. For more information, see "Favorites". • Address. A street address with house number, any address stored in Contacts, or a location somewhere in a city, within a postal code area, or near an intersection. • Recent destination. A place you have recently visited. • Point of interest. Useful places such as restaurants, gas stations, etc. • My location. Your current location. Tap the icon first to add your location as a point of interest (POI). • Point on map. A location on the map that is shown by the Map Browser. • Latitude Longitude. A GPS position in latitude and longitude values. Tap the icon first to specify these values.
