Removing and Replacing the Memory Compartment Cover To remove the memory compartment cover, follow these steps: 1. Turn the computer off and remove all external devices, including the battery pack and the AC Adapter. Remove the diskette and PC Card, if installed (Section 5.3). 2. Close the computer and turn it topside down. 3. Slide the memory compartment cover toward the rear of the computer and lift up (Figure 5-11). IMPORTANT: Be sure to maintain the same orientation of the cover to the computer when removing and replacing.
Removing and Replacing the Memory Compartment Cover
To remove the memory compartment cover, follow these steps:
1. Turn the computer off and remove all external devices, including the
battery pack and the AC Adapter. Remove the diskette and PC Card, if
installed (Section 5.3).
2. Close the computer and turn it topside down.
3. Slide the memory compartment cover toward the rear of the computer and
lift up (Figure 5-11).
IMPORTANT: Be sure to maintain the same orientation of the cover to the
computer when removing and replacing.
