GS748T Smart Switch Software Administration Manual To configure global LLDP settings: 1. Configure the following LLDP properties. • TLV Advertised Interval. Specify the interval at which frames are transmitted. The default is 30 seconds, and the valid range is 1-32768 seconds. • Hold Multiplier. Specify multiplier on the transmit interval to assign to Time-to-Live (TTL). The default is 4, and the range is 2-10. • Reinitializing Delay. Specify the delay before a reinitialization. The default is 2 seconds, and the range is 1-10 seconds. • Transmit Delay. Specify the interval for the transmission of notifications. The default is 5 seconds, and the range is 5-3600 seconds. 2. To change the LLDP-MED properties in the Fast Start Duration field, specify the number of LLDP packets sent when the LLDP-MED Fast Start mechanism is initialized, which occurs when a new endpoint device links with the LLDP-MED network connectivity device. The default value is 3, and the range is from 1-10. 3. Click Apply to apply the new settings to the system. 4. Click Cancel to cancel the configuration on the screen and reset the data on the screen to the latest value of the switch. 5. Click Refresh to update the screen with the current information.
