2. Use the groove at the top left corner of the cover (3) to lift the cover up and away from the back of the phone (4). To install a SIM card: 1. Remove the back cover and battery. 2. Make sure to orient the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down and the corner notch positioned as shown, then slide the SIM card completely into the socket. Note: The angled corner of the SIM should be inserted as shown in the following diagram. Improperly inserting the SIM can cause the phone to not recognize the SIM. Installing the SIM Card
When you subscribe for 3G cellular network services, you
receive a plug-in SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card
loaded with your subscription details, such as your PIN, and
available optional services.
Important!
The plug-in SIM card and its contacts can be easily
damaged by scratches or bending. Use caution
when inserting or removing the card, and keep all
SIM cards out of reach of children.
To install a SIM card:
