A Glossary „ 3BM 2. 3ware BIOS Manager. The 3ware BIOS (Basic Input Output System) manager is a basic interface used to view, maintain, and manage 3ware controllers, disks, and units, without having to boot the operating system. 3BM is included with the controller and is updated when the controller firmware is flash-upgraded. For 9550SX controllers, it is included in the tw_update utility.
