Unit Information Page The Unit Information page appears when you choose Information > Unit Information from the menu bar, or when you click an ID number on the Controller Summary page. The Unit Information page shows a list of the units on the controller specified in the drop-down list on the menu bar and provides summary information about each unit. To see details about a particular unit, click the link in the Unit # column. Unit #. The unit number assigned to the unit by the firmware. For 9000-series controllers, unit numbers are in sequential order. Name. For 9000series controllers, if a name has been given to this unit, it shows here. If it is empty, no name has been assigned. You can name your unit in the Unit Names section of the Management > Controller Settings page. Type. The type of unit, specified during configuration: RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 10, RAID 50, Single Disk, JBOD, or Spare.
