Use the following steps to enable or disable DHCP from the phone. Note When DHCP is enabled in your network, you cannot complete procedures to configure IP settings or TFTP options. Procedure Step 1 Choose Menu > Profiles > Network Profile. Step 2 Scroll to the profile name that you want to configure and press Select. Enabling or Disabling DHCP
The Cisco IP Phones enable DHCP by default, but you can disable the protocol if
you do not use DHCP in your network. Use the following steps to enable or
disable DHCP from the phone.
Note
When DHCP is enabled in your network, you cannot complete procedures to
configure IP settings or TFTP options.
