Installing Hardware Options IMPORTANT: If the expansion board ships with an extender bracket, remove it from the expansion board before inserting the board into the expansion slot of the PCI riser board assembly. 4. Install the PCI riser board assembly: a. Lay the PCI riser board assembly in the chassis. b. Insert the rear edge of the assembly into the PCI support slot (1). c. Press down firmly above the expansion slot until the assembly is seated in the expansion slot (2). IMPORTANT: The server does not power up if the PCI riser board assembly is not properly seated. d. IMPORTANT:

a.
Lay the PCI riser board assembly in the chassis.
b.
Insert the rear edge of the assembly into the PCI support slot (1).
c.
Press down firmly above the expansion slot until the assembly is seated in
the expansion slot (2).
IMPORTANT:
The server does not power up if the PCI riser board assembly is not properly
seated.
d.
Tighten the PCI riser board thumbscrew (3).
