Clear the image memory.
1)
Enter the SIM 66-10 mode.
2)
Press [EXECUTE] key and then [YES] key. (The FAX image
memory is cleared.)
3)
After several minutes, memory clear operation is completed
and the [YES] button goes out. Press the [CA] key to exit from
the simulation mode.
Then the main unit is automatically rebooted.

Connect the line cable to the fax box unit.
1)
Connect the line cable of the line side to the modular jack indi-
cated with “LINE.”

For using an external telephone:
For using an external telephone, wind the line cable around
the supplied ferrite core by two turns and connect the cable
to the modular jack indicated with “TEL.”

Installation completion check
1)
Execute SIM 22-10 to check to confirm that the FAX box and
the FAX memory are properly installed.
When the FAX1 is properly connected, "MX-FXX2" is dis-
played.
When the FAX memory is properly connected, "AR-MM9" is
displayed.
