For users in the UK, Eire, Malta and Cyprus only Important The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code: BLUE NEUTRAL BROWN LIVE Note As the colours of the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plugs, proceed as follows: - Connect BROWN wire to terminal marked L or coloured RED. - Connect BLUE wire to terminal marked N or coloured BLACK. When using A.B.S. 1363 fused plug, a 3 Amp. fuse must be fitted. If the terminals of the plug are unmarked, consult a qualified electrician before use. Important (in the United Kingdom) - Mains Supply (AC 230/240V, 50Hz only) - DO NOT cut off the mains plug from equipment. If the plug fitted is not suitable for the power point in your home or the cable is too short to reach a power point, then obtain an appropriate safety approved extension lead or consult your dealer. - BE SURE to replace the fuse only with an identical approved type, as originally fitted, and to replace the fuse cover. - If nonetheless the mains plug is cut off, ensure to remove the fuse and dispose of the plug immediately, to avoid a possible shock hazard by inadvertent connection to the mains supply.
