Adjusting Images Adjusting the Gamma Value The gamma value adjustment mode is available when the image mode is set to a color or grayscale setting. Use this mode to set a gamma value that matches the particular characteristics of the monitor you are using. It is especially useful for matching the colors that display on your monitor to the colors on the original image. Guide to the Gamma Value Tab Preset Gamma Values Click the radio button for any preset value to select it. Custom Setting Button Click the [Custom] button to set a custom gamma value with the slider or input box. Gamma Value Input Box Input a value from 0.10 to 10.00. You can also use the arrow keys to adjust the value. Reset Button Click this button to reset the gamma value to the default value. Gamma Value Slider Drag the slider tab left (lower) or right (higher) to change the gamma value.
