Table 4-2 Administration Window Contents Component Description CE1 and CE2 MIC LEDs ESI Indicator IOP1 and IOP2 IL Indicator Status Indicator Ethernet Indicator Keyboard/ Pointer Indicator Indicates the status of a CE. Indicates the status of the MIC associated with the LEDs. Indicates the status of the ESIs (Endurance System Interconnects) that collectively report the status of connections to the various components. Indicates the status of an IOP. Indicates the status of the IL (IOP Link). Indicates which IOP is providing Endurance server information to the Endurance Manager. (For information on how to configure which IOP polls for information, refer to the Options Window on page 4-18.) When the indicator is green, the associated IOP is providing Endurance server status to the Endurance Manager. Indicates the state of the Endurance server Ethernet connections. If multiple Ethernet connections are configured for the Endurance server, a separate indicator displays the status of each connection. Indicates whether the keyboard and pointer are available to the: • CE -- They provide input to the CE's operating system (green). • IOP -- They provide input to the local IOP's operating system (white). Table 4-2
Administration Window Contents
Component
Description
CE1 and CE2
Indicates the status of a CE.
MIC LEDs
Indicates the status of the MIC associated with the LEDs.
ESI Indicator
Indicates the status of the ESIs (Endurance System Interconnects) that collectively
report the status of connections to the various components.
IOP1 and IOP2
Indicates the status of an IOP.
IL Indicator
Indicates the status of the IL (IOP Link).
Status Indicator
Indicates which IOP is providing Endurance server information to the Endurance
Manager.
(For information on how to configure which IOP polls for information,
refer to the
Options Window
on
page 4-18
.)
When the indicator is green, the associated IOP is providing Endurance server
status to the Endurance Manager.
Ethernet
Indicator
Indicates the state of the Endurance server Ethernet connections. If multiple
Ethernet connections are configured for the Endurance server, a separate indicator
displays the status of each connection.
Keyboard/
Pointer Indicator
Indicates whether the keyboard and pointer are available to the:
°
CE
--
They provide input to the CE³s operating system (green).
°
IOP
--
They provide input to the local IOP³s operating system (white).
