Quiet Mode To minimize printer noise, use Quiet Mode. You can enable this mode from either the control panel or the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS). NOTE: Quiet Mode slows the printer speed. If it hinders productivity, you can turn the mode off. To turn Quiet Mode on or off from the control panel 1. Open the control panel dashboard (swipe the dashboard tab at the top of any screen downward, or touch the dashboard area on the home screen). 2. On the control panel dashboard, touch . 3. Touch Quiet Mode and turn it on or off. To turn Quiet Mode on or off from the EWS 1. Open the EWS. For more information, see Open the EWS. 2. Click the Settings tab. 3.
