3. Remove the four Phillips screws (1) that secure the memory cover to the computer, rotate the column side of the cover upward, and then remove the cover (2). 4. Spread the two retention clips outward (1) until the memory module tilts up at a 45-degree angle. Remove the module (2). Use the same procedure to remove both memory modules. NOTE: A memory module can be installed in only one way. Match the notch on the module with the tab on the memory socket.
