Card reader/audio board When viewing the back of the computer, the card reader/audio board is located on the right, bottom of the computer. To remove the card reader/audio board: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 23). 2. Remove the rear covers (see Removing the rear covers from the computer on page 24). 3. Remove the memory cover (see Memory on page 29). 4. Separate the computer from the column (see Separating the computer from the column on page 41). 5. Remove the outer plastic trim (see Outer plastic trim on page 55). 6. Disconnect the cable from the top of the board (1), and then remove the two Torx screws (2) that secure the board to the computer. 7. Remove the board from the computer. When viewing the back of the computer, the card reader/audio board is located on the right, bottom of the
computer.
To remove the card reader/audio board:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

2.
Remove the rear covers (see

3.
Remove the memory cover (see

).
4.
Separate the computer from the column (see

5.
Remove the outer plastic trim (see

).
6.
Disconnect the cable from the top of the board
(1)
, and then remove the two Torx screws
(2)
that secure
the board to the computer.
7.
Remove the board from the computer.
To install the card reader/audio board, reverse the removal procedures.
