ADF angle detection The SCB performs the detection by monitoring an output of the ADF angle detection sensor (PI-1). The output of the PI-1 is "H" when the ADF unit is opened. When the angle between the glass and the ADF is less than 30 degrees, the sensor lever interrupts the PI-1 and the output of the PI-1 is "L." The ADF intermediate PCA and ADF analog processor board pass the signal through. 3. The ADF inverter sends the signal to the scanning lamp and the document exposure process begins.
