3. Disconnect two ribbon cables (callout 3). Figure 6-64 Remove the flatbed optical unit (2 of 6) 3 NOTE: One of the ribbon cables is a Zero Insertion Force cable with no retaining clip. CAUTION: The retaining clips on the two center connectors are fragile. Be careful to avoid breaking them. 4. Slide the optical unit to the right for access to the belt tension adjusting plate (callout 4), and then loosen the screw on the adjusting plate (callout 5).
