Print engine covers Front cover 1. Remove two small, plastic retaining pins (callout 1). 2. Pinch and release two tabs (below the retaining cups, callout 2) on the end of each black retaining strap to release the strap ends. Figure 6-139 Remove the front cover (1 of 2) 1 2 3. Remove the front cover from the hinges (callout 3) by pulling up on the hinge tabs that are located below the front cover.
