Back assemblies Gain access to the following assemblies from the back of the product: ● Formatter ● Low-voltage power supply ● High-voltage power supply ● DC controller ● Toner-sensor contact assembly ● Cartridge memory PCA ● Drum motor ● Feed-drive assembly ● Power-supply fan (fan 1) ● Cartridge fan (fan 5) ● Controller fan (fan 2) Formatter CAUTION: Some parts are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Look for the ESD reminder when removing product parts. Always perform service work at an ESD-protected workstation or mat. If an ESD workstation or mat is not available, ground yourself by touching the sheet-metal chassis before touching an ESD-sensitive part. Protect the ESD-sensitive parts by placing them in ESD pouches when they are out of the product. WARNING! The formatter has sharp edges. 1. Turn the product off. 2.
