4. Click the Submit. button. MY BOOK WORLD EDITION USER MANUAL Network The device's network option is set to DHCP Client by default, which is appropriate for most environments. By selecting Static IP, you can manually set the IP address, netmask, gateway, and DNS (Domain Name Service) server IP address. To configure the network settings: 1. Click the Network button on the Basic Mode home page. 2. In the Network Mode drop-down menu, select a network mode. Selecting DHCP Client as a network mode causes the device to obtain an IP address automatically from the local DHCP server.
