The implementation of this mode is operating system specific. For details, see your operating system documentation. This mode sets the processor to the lowest supported power consumption state and forces it to stay in this lowest state. This mode sets the processor to the highest supported performance processor state and forces it to stay in this highest state. This mode configures the server to enable the operating system to control the processor p-states. Use this setting to put the Operating System (including OS-hosted applications) in charge of power management. Administration The Administration menu enables you to access the following pages: • Firmware Upgrade • Licensing • Local Accounts • Group Accounts • Access Settings • Directory Settings • Network Settings • BladeSystem Onboard Administrator (OA) (Available only for server blade) Firmware Upgrade The Firmware Upgrade page enables you to upgrade the iLO 3 and system programmable firmware. Dynamic Power Savings
Mode
This mode sets the processor to the lowest supported power consumption state and forces
it to stay in this lowest state.
Static Low Power Mode
This mode sets the processor to the highest supported performance processor state and
forces it to stay in this highest state.
Static High Performance
Mode
This mode configures the server to enable the operating system to control the processor
p-states. Use this setting to put the Operating System (including OS-hosted applications)
in charge of power management.
