reset disk-error-statistics Description Resets error statistics for all or specified disks. Statistics that are reset include: • Number of SMART events recorded • Number of I/O timeouts accessing the disk • Number of times the disk did not respond • Number of attempts by the controllers to spin up the disk • Number of media errors (errors generated by the disk as specified by its manufacturer) • Number of non-media errors (errors generated by the controllers or by the disk and not categorized as media errors) • Number of block reassignments • Number of bad blocks found To reset other disk statistics, use the reset disk-statistics command. Syntax reset disk-error-statistics [disks] Parameters disks Optional. IDs of the disks for which to reset statistics. For disk syntax, see "Command syntax" (page 20). If this parameter is omitted, statistics are reset for all disks. Example Reset error statistics for disks 1.1 and 2.1: # reset disk-error-statistics 1.1,2.1 Success: Command completed successfully.
