convert std-to-master Description Converts a standard volume to a master volume. This enables snapshot functionality for the volume and associates it with an existing snap pool. The standard volume and the snap pool must be owned by the same controller, though they can be in different vdisks. Syntax convert std-to-master snap-pool snap-pool standard-volume Parameters snap-pool snap-pool The name or serial number of the snap pool to associate with the new master volume. For volume syntax, see "Command syntax" (page 20). standard-volume The name or serial number of the standard volume to convert. For volume syntax, see "Command syntax" (page 20). Example Convert standard volume V1 to a master volume and associate it with snap pool SP1: # convert std-to-master snap-pool SP1 V1 Success: Command completed successfully.
