Operating the OmniBook Checking the Status of the OmniBook Drive Status Icons Indicator Meaning Drive activity. The OmniBook is accessing either the hard disk drive or any of the following drives in the module bay: CD-ROM drive, DVD drive, LS-120 drive, or second hard disk drive. Floppy disk drive. The OmniBook is accessing the floppy disk drive. PC Card. There is activity between the PC Card and the computer. (For the OmniBook 7150, the indicator stays on if a CardBus PC Card is installed.) Keyboard Status Icons Indicator Meaning Caps Lock. Caps Lock is active. Num Lock. Num Lock is active. Keypad Lock. The built-in embedded keypad is active (Fn+F8). Num Lock must also be on for the numeric keys. Otherwise, cursor keys are active. Scroll Lock. Scroll Lock is active. 2-19
