Expanding the OmniBook Installing a Hard Disk Drive To replace the hard disk drive holder If you are installing a new hard drive that does not have a plastic holder, you can remove the holder from the old hard drive. You'll need a small Phillips screwdriver for this procedure. 1. Unsnap the two plastic snaps next to the connector and remove the plastic tray. 2. Remove the four screws from the sides of the shield. 3. Remove the hard drive from the shield. 4. Unplug the connector from the hard drive. 5-4

To replace the hard disk drive holder
If you are installing a new hard drive that does not have a plastic holder, you can
remove the holder from the old hard drive.
You’ll need a small Phillips screwdriver for this procedure.
1. Unsnap the two plastic snaps next to the connector and remove the plastic tray.
2. Remove the four screws from the sides of the shield.
3. Remove the hard drive from the shield.
4. Unplug the connector from the hard drive.
