Select this choice to enable or disable a non-Windows operating system to use the adapter remote wake up capability. The default setting is Disabled. Notes: 1. Use the default setting for Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) aware operating systems, such as Windows 2000 and Windows XP. 2. If your computer is running a non-ACPI operating system, you must set this selection to enable it to use the Wake-on-LAN support. 3. When using a non-ACPI operating system, do not send a wake up packet to the computer while it is turned on.
