If Adobe Acrobat Reader is not installed on your computer, a message will appear when you attempt to view the PDF file. If you want to install a version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download it from the Adobe Web site at http://www.adobe.com on the World Wide Web. Complete the following steps to view online documentation. 1. Click Start → Programs → Online Books →Online Books. If no online books are installed, go to step 2. 2. You can search for online documentation files at http://www.ibm.com/pc/support on the World Wide Web. Installing other operating systems Your IBM computer comes with Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional preinstalled with the option of changing your operating system to Windows NT Workstation. For complete details about installing Windows NT Workstation, see "Recovering your operating system" on page 101. To install another operating system, follow the instructions in the documentation provided with the operating system and any updates. Then, follow the instructions in "Appendix A. Using the Software Selections CD" on page 109 to install the support software. Note: If you install another operating system, you might need additional software or device drivers. Hardware-specific support software is available on the DeviceDrivers and IBM Enhanced DiagnosticsCD. If you experience problems with the device drivers installed from this CD, you can obtain the latest device drivers at http://www.ibm.com/pc/support on the World Wide Web. Chapter 2. Documentation about your computer hardware and software is provided in

Installing other operating systems
Your IBM computer comes with Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional preinstalled

To install another operating system, follow the instructions in the documentation
provided with the operating system and any updates. Then, follow the instructions
