120 Power Management Running the computer on battery power The Power Save Properties dialog box appears. Power Save Properties dialog box (Windows NT) The Battery Charge section of the Power Save Modes tab displays the remaining percentage of battery charge. With repeated discharges and recharges, the battery's capacity will gradually decrease. A frequently used older battery will not power the computer for as long as a new battery, even when both are fully charged.
