Chapter 6 Exploring Your Options In this chapter, you will explore some of the special features of your Tecra 8200 Series notebook computer. Setting up Windows to work with your printer When you turned on your computer for the first time, the Windows Setup program offered you the opportunity to define a printer. Read this section if you did not do so, or if you want to set up a different printer. Setting up a printer involves choosing a printer driver. This special program acts as a translator that turns your work into a form the printer can understand. This section describes how to select a printer driver in Windows. If you are using any non-Windows programs, you need to set up a printer driver for each of those programs. Refer to your program's documentation for more information. 131
